Hmm...I'll start with one of my favorite characters. xD Mothy Mothy Mothy. Though I did change the history. Its never the same on every site I go on if I bring him along with me. xD Its fun to change him around...or maybe Mothwhisker had brain damage and alll these different memories were made up and no one ever knows which one was the real one...Though in all of his histories Starchedheart always dies. xD [Spoiled it. but you will know I never like keeping mates one must always die for me. ...Cruel]
xx; Name: Mothwhisker
xx; Gender: Tomcat
xx; Clan: Windclan
xx; Rank: Warrior
xx; Age: 36 moons[3 years old]
xx; Description: Mothwhisker is a short furred auburn colored tomcat. He is skinny and is light on his paws. He is one of the fastest cats in Windclan. His whiskers are long silver like and his claws are a clean white along with his fangs. Under his chin is a blondish color. he has light brown-black stripes on his back and a white spot at the tip of his tail. Mothwhisker's ears are tall and fuzzy at the tops of them. His nose is a light brown/tan color which is usually moist. He has two scars on each side that are shaped like wings but cats don't usually notice unless they're paying close attention to his description. Mothwhisker's eyes are a light blue color that almost look like crystals other than eyes.
xx; Personality: Mothwhisker has a sharp tongue when it comes to kits and apprentices but is usually nicer to cats his own age. Kits just get in the way and apprentices run around like hyper maniacs. When he was a apprentice he was to caught up in his own paws with his best friend to really care about anyone else. He has a dark-side whenever this friend is mentioned and he doesn't like it when cats talk about him behind his back. Mothwhisker has a bad temper with cats but that doesn't mean he isn't nice. But his weakness is the past. He usually spends time out of camp doing clan chores, whatever to keep him busy so there is no time for thinking. Other than that Mothwhisker will try and think of positive things. There is always another day to come and so little time. Especially for the life of a warrior. He is headstrong and somewhat ignorant. Sometimes he just won't listen to anyone but that creepy little voice in the back of his head.
xx; History:
Brokensoul[Mother] and Fallowstep[Father] were reckless lovers. Fallowstep was quite old when they fell in love. He was nine years old while Brokensoul was only three. A moon after the four kits were born Fallowstep was brutally murdered. Brokensoul was having a hard time raising the four kits- three toms and one female. They were so wild it took such a toll onto her. Nothing was fun and games anymore with Fallowstep gone and the murderer still at large.
Mothkit never got to know his father and his mother always seemed so stressed. No other queens wanted to help her it seemed. Mothkit was the second eldest, Anarchykit was the oldest, Empathykit was the third eldest and then there was Shimmerkit who was the youngest. She was very quiet unlike her other three siblings. Mothkit usually stayed close to her away from Anarchykit's rampage. He was the loud and tough one of the group, and Empathykit followed at his side with just as much ambitions. Mothkit was tough but not consider anything close to Anarchykit and Empathykit. They liked to toss him around and pick on him. Mothkit and Shimmerkit usually spent time out of camp while they spent time in. They grew really close because of Empathykit and Anarchykit.
At six moons old, Mothpaw tried very hard to learn everything he could. A few days after they became apprentices Empathypaw was found dead in the territory. Story told he bled to death. Mothpaw tried to not have this worry him even though they said it scented just as Fallowstep had when they found him. Brokensoul spent more time laying around in the medicine cats den then doing any warrior duties. Now all of the camp seemed a little torn. Mothpaw was a fast learner and even though he worried a little too much tried to not have it get to him. Then it happened again. Shimmerpaw and Mothpaw's mentor- Moonwing- were found dead. Shimmerpaw's body was found hung on a tree limb and Moonwing with his skull crushed under a rock. Anarchypaw wasn't worrying about these things. He still trained not even turning once. Mothpaw's training slowed down especially since his mentor died. Shimmerpaw was the only sibling who really cared with her gone everything seemed so bland. Two more moons passed and there training picked up pace once more. Mothpaw still wasn't the same though. Then a new cat arrived. His name was Starchedpaw after the clan changed it. He was born a loner but found by a clan patrol then brought here. Mothpaw quietly analyzed this cat who seemed like the outcast. They trained from time to time but Starchedpaw just didn't seem to feel comfortable. When Mothpaw's cerimony to become a warrior came he kindly declined to there leader telling he wasn't ready. Though he just didn't want to be parted with Starchedpaw who seemed so unique to him. Something made out of glass. Anarchypaw because Anarchysoul and continued to taunt Mothpaw for his weakness. One day when the two brothers were out in the territory and Anarchysoul started to attack him. He spat at Mothpaw telling him he was weak and knew what was going through his head. Stunned, Mothpaw just stood there barely realizing it when Anarchysoul started to physically attack him aiming blows to his chest. Suddenly another shape entered the clearing behind them. Starchedpaw wrestled with Anarchysoul, blinding him in one eye. Taking the advantage both apprentices feld leaving Anarchysoul behind them. Mothpaw thanked Starchedpaw for helping him. The other tom did something strange then making Mothpaw's freeze all up inside. He nuzzled him as if they were long time friends...or something else. Uneasy about this Mothpaw left Starchedpaw to wander back to camp alone. Anarchysoul never made it back to camp after that. He went missing. Mothpaw was the only one left and he had to protect his mother, no matter what. He had Starchedpaw swear not to tell anyone what happened with his brother and him in the territory. Though hesitant Starchedpaw agreed and there friendship began to grow.
At the age of twenty moons Mothpaw became Mothwhisker along with his best friend Starchedheart. They sat in silence most of the cold cold night but finally Starchedheart spoke. They talked quietly, barely above a whisper until the sky grew a fainter grey color then all was silent again. Anarchysoul was still missing and no one ever found a trace of him again until now. He shows up one day while Mothwhisker is out in the territory hunting with his mother who had recovered only a little from all the drama. He pounced on Mothwhisker beating him senseless as his mother screamed from a blow by another tomcat. It was him. The one killing off all of there family. Ari was from a family that had always killed for sport and didn't regret it. Usually they did things from an upper hand. Someone told them to. But this was all Ari's plan this time. Mothwhisker had his skull crushed into the ground while Ari kept beating his mother. Anarchysoul was making him watch all of this. Feeling a sudden rage the tom slit his brothers throat taking him by surprise as he smacked Ari down. The other tom was surprised by Mothwhisker and with only last fatal beat to his mother attacked him. After a long bloody fight Mothwhisker was thrown against a tree knocking him out completely. He woke to the night with a full moon floating above. Starchedheart stood over Ari with bloody fangs. The tom was just barely alive weeping on the ground near Anarchysoul. Though between the cries was laughter. Ari told them to kill him now that he had nothing else. Starchedheart followed his orders killing the tom swiftly. Mothwhisker was shocked not knowing how he was able to do that but realized he too had killed today. Starchedheart told Mothwhisker his mother was at camp with the medicine cat. The two toms walked a little ways towards camp but stopped. They were still so far from camp and Mothwhisker's wounds were getting worse. Taking refuge under a large opening beneath tree roots Starchedheart told him he'd be back. After what seemed like forever Starchedheart returned with food and some herbs that would help Mothwhisker. The toms stayed under there for the rest of the night. While Mothwhisker slept Starchedheart kept close, keeping watch. In the morning a patrol caught them and brought the two back to camp though they didn't need any help. Mothwhisker felt embarassed by the over exaggerated stories being told and hid away.
More moons passed and things grew even stranger. Brokensoul committed suicide only a little after Mothwhisker and Starchedheart saved her again from a badger. They found her just outside of camp. Having no family left Mothwhisker felt alone. Seeing changes in his friend Starchedheart tried to comfort him but it didn't seem to work. When a she-cat came up to Mothwhisker one day saying she loved him he felt...odd. Starchedheart appeared immediately in his mind making his belly churn with unease. Leaving the she-cat he went looking for his friend who had earlier asked him to go hunting but declined. Mothwhisker looked all over the place but didn't spot his friend anywhere. On his way back to camp he heard a yowl coming from close by near the Riverclan border. Mothwhisker found Starchedheart there, his hind leg smashed between two rocks. The scent of another patrol of Riverclan cats coming this way made him worry for his friends safety. While trying to push the rocks away Starchedheart told him how someone pounced on him from behind and pulled him down here. It must've been a Riverclan cat or some intruder playing games with them. Just able to get Starchedheart released from the rocks in time his hind paw was broken making it painful for him to run far. The sun was beginning to set and they weren't even close to camp. Mothwhisker had almost forgotten what happened earlier with the shecat. Starchedheart stopped him though. He told Mothwhisker that he loved him and how he kept it a secret for a long time now. Starchedheart thought Mothwhisker felt the same way and knew about his feelings but it took him at surprise. Afterwards Starchedheart just nodded and ran off though the pain in his hind paw had grown worse. Mothwhisker stayed away from Starchedheart for the full next day letting him rest and having the time to just..think. When Mothwhisker visited Starchedheart to tell him how he felt the warrior wasn't there. Searching yet again over the territory he found Starchedheart sitting up in a tree watching the sunset. He seemed a bit..depressed. Mothwhisker joined him and they sat there just watching the sun go down. On there way back to camp Mothwhisker told Starchedheart he loved him too but sadly that only made his friend seem sader. Two more moons passed and the toms were always together. Some noticed the strange attachment they had grown but didn't say it aloud. Mothwhisker was embarrassed about it but Starchedheart seemed totally fine except for he kept getting more depressed by each days' end.
At thirty moons old Starchedheart left Mothwhisker. He told him that clan life wasn't meant for him and he hated it here even with Mothwhisker. Hurt by his words Mothwhisker told him he only felt bad for Starchedheart and just pretended to be his friend so he could maybe get a chance to be deputy. But of course things got a little out of hand and they began to fight in the middle of the clearing. The word spread quickly of two toms falling in love and then Starchedheart left. Days passed and things just weren't the same. The shame of being so cruel to the only friend he ever had followed him like a dark rain cloud. Mothwhisker left in search of his love to tell him sorry but when he went out into the loner lands it was harder to find a cat than he expected. With the help of other loners though he found Starchedheart in a small den. Starchedheart was dying. Mothwhisker spilled out his insides to the dying Starchedheart who only laughed lightly wishing he didn't have to be so cruel. He had hoped that you would get over it and it would be easier for him to hate Starchedheart and move on oblivious to the fact that he died. Mothwhisker stayed with him for one final night before heading back to camp the next day after burying his love.
Even though he still feels sad from the loss of Starchedheart, Mothwhisker tries to look forward to the future even with every pending day going he knows that they would meet again at some point. He was been doing his warrior duties and nothing more except trying to ignore the fact that still some cats were somewhat still hostile for loving Starchedheart. Mothwhisker just hopes to live out a normal life and nothing more.
xx; Additional Info: Hope that's alright...-shrinks-
xx; Example Post: "Mothpaw get over here!" growled Moonwing. The auburn tomcat looked over his shoulder at his mentor who was with another cat he didn't know. "Mothpaw this is Starchedpaw, he just joined the clan and I'd like for you to show him around a bit, alright? Afterwards you and I will go out for some battle training." He said over entusiasticly. Mothpaw nodded and flicked his tail for Starchedpaw to follow. He was mesmerized by such a glossy topaz colored coat Starchedpaw had and his dazzling teal colored eyes.
"This is the apprentices den," He flicked his long tail to the den closest to them. "Over there is the nursery, elders den, the warriors den and leaders den." Mothpaw said turning back to glance at Starchedpaw. He couldn't figure out what might have been going through his mind but it made him kind of nervous. "Then right there is-" Something heavy landed on his back taking his breath away. At first Mothpaw thought if was Starchedpaw playing around, trying to get to know him but the scent of his kin, Anarchypaw, made it clear.
"You're easier to catch then mice." He growled laughing menacingly at his brother. Mothpaw rolled over onto his back but Anarchypaw jumped off. "Too slow.."The black tom meowed slamming a paw against his brothers muzzle making him step back a few.
"Knock it off. What are you a kit? No kits can do better than that."
Mothpaw and Anarchypaw both stared at Starchedpaw kind of surprised that he had spoken. Starchedpaw met there gazes evenly and Mothpaw was the first to look away, embarrassed now. The three cats parted, continuing with there daily activities though Starchedpaw still stayed on his mind.
