xx; Name
Kasami Kitsune
xx; Gender
Vixen
xx; Clan
Myongonji
xx; Rank
Samurai?
xx; Age
19
xx; Description
A silver-gray fox, shadowed with darker shades of gray. Kasami's fur never shines, no matter how often she grooms it, due to an accident when she was young. This helps her when she needs to be stealthy - she simply melts into the background. Her eyes are an unusually vivid green, like the forest in Greenleaf. She imagines that it's to make up for her lack of colouring. Her pelt is very thick, and she is built for strength, well-muscled and broad-shouldered. Her thick coat hides any scars she has from battle.
xx; Personality
Kasami loves to make a mystery of herself, sliding off into the forest at night and staying out for long periods of time. She's a bit vain that way, as she loves the attention she recieves after her disappearances, but she is loyal to the Myongonji and can't stay away for too long. She enjoys dramatics, and likes to put on a different 'face,' as she thinks of it, everytime she comes back. Sometimes she is dark and brooding, other times she is light and mischievious, and so on - to create an aura of curiousity and mystery around her trips, she thinks, though many probably think she suffers from a personality disorder. Her true character is devious and bright, a trickster at heart, but anyone who can shrug off or ignore her misty illusions can find a loyal friend in her.
xx; History
Kasami's days as a young one were adventurous, to say the least. She often sneaked away from her mother's watchful gaze, and explored the areas around the Myogonji camp, wandering farther and farther all the time. One day, she found a small glade quite far from the camp, that reeked of an unfamiliar smell. Ignoring the scent, she walked into the clearing intending to take a nap there. Before she had taken more than five steps, however, a huge, drooling, barking creature suddenly charged out from the other side and began to chase her. Despite her best efforts to escape, the animal was able to bull through the underbrush and continue its pursuit. Finally, the little fox saw that she had run towards a ravine. Standing at its edge, she was about to turn away when the animal rammed into her, shoving her down the steep wall. After that, it simply turned back around and ran home.
Below, Kasami had tumbled down the rough rock wall, creating numerous cuts and scratches all over her body. She was lucky enough to be alive, caught on a bush growing at the base of the ravine, but she had passed out from fear. Hours later, she woke up to find that her mother had traced her scent trail and followed her to the ravine. Kasami's normally red coat had turned to a lackluster gray, which her mother told her was either an effect of panic, or a punishment. Kasami thought it was fear that changed her.
After that, Kasami was more careful whenever she went away from camp, which was still very often. She has learned to use her lack of colouring as an advantage, using shadows to hunt or fight with stealth. She remains a loyal, if absent, member of the Myogonji.
