Shadow raised her head and twitched her ears slightly. "Sing...?" She mummered lightly. She abruptly shook her head. "I have not heard signing for a while now...It seems to have died within the Asena...What about you?"

He bowed his head in thanks then turned back to stare in front of him.He bowed his head down, the slowly threw it back to let out a loud and airy, strange howl. The notes shifted from high to low, and danced in the air straight to the moon. The water, the birds, the bugs, all around seemed to quiet to listen to his masterfuly, beautiful howl, echoing off the stone walls and pinpointing straight into the night sky.He held the song for so long, it seemed liek he could continiue to sing through out eternity, but he then grew quieter, bringing his head down as if he was a character in a play that had slowly died.

As the howl began to stop slowly, Shadow smiled. Once the air grew still with silence Shadow barked in reply. "That was a truly wonderful song."

Shadow gave her head a soft shake, and slightly chuckled. "Nah..." She barked. "The spirit of song died a long time ago in me..."

He stared at her blankly and shook his head.
"That is not true...Everyone has a song in them...They just need to find it..."He called.

Shadow gave a slight smirk. "That may be, but songs can also die within one's soul." She replied.

He shook his head and he seemed to isntantly appear in front of her liek a pahntom, that was how quiet his movments were, as he sat, his fur still slightly wet from the water as he stared her in the eyes.
"It matters not what happens in this world or any other...No one's heart may die...They may freeze, but not die..."He murmered quietly towards her, his voice but a whisper in the wind to her ears.
